Thanks I looked in the email summary, I didnt know it existed.
I see bounced emails in there, your mail server is broken.

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at 5.mail-out.ovh.net.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

:
Sorry, I couldn't find any host named eric*.com. (#5.1.2)
|MAIL_FROM:|RCPT_TO:|Sor ry,_I_couldn't_find_any_host_named_eric*.com|._(#5 .1.2)?

I replaced my details with a *. but the domain definitely does exist.

Hi Eric,

Good feedback. Thanks for the suggestion.

Might be worth noting that you can check the contents of every email automatically sent to you in your Manager. So if you have not received an email with access codes, you can definitely find them in "Administration" -> "My Settings" -> "Email Summary".

Please let me specify the new root password during the OS Change/Reinstall, or show it to me at the end of the reinstall.
The neboot should do this too.

Sending by email is insecure and unreliable.

I just reinstalled my server and did not get the email with the root password so I had to use netboot to change it, again did not get the netboot email.
After a few tries I eventually got the email.

Email is not reliable, do not use it for anything important.
Why not just show it on the manager which uses SSL instead of email?
