The best way for us to solve this would be for you to send an email to our support address (support@ovh.ie) along with your nic handle and server name. We will then look into this for you.

i have a Backup FS-4T Dedicated server, that has been "loosing" drive space.

it currently is at 99% drive useage. i permanently deleted 50gb to free space, yet the server still reports that there is no space remaining, even after running a FSchk and making sure that the files were actually deleted and not just moved to the recycle bin.

anyone experienced this?
how do i go about fixing it?

there is currently over 1TB of "missing" drive space

desktop@ks28011:~/Downloads$ df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
rootfs 156G 4.5G 143G 4% /
/dev/root 156G 4.5G 143G 4% /
none 199M 2.7M 197M 2% /run
none 5.0M 0 5.0M 0% /run/lock
none 995M 136K 995M 1% /run/shm
/dev/md3 3.3T 3.3T 48G 99% /home

here is a screenshot of the disk useage analyzer showing the missing ~1.4 tb

as you can see, it shows the capacity for "desktop" as 3.6tb. the only files on the server are in "/FTPROOT", totaling 2tb, after adding all other items listed there is approximately 2.2TB used
